Determines eligibility and develops, with consumer, their Individual Plan for Employment, appropriate services, service providers, responsibilities, and terms. Coordinates services that will assist individuals in achieving their vocational goals. Provides vocational counseling assessments, collects and evaluates medical, psychological, vocational and other reports. Works extensively with employers, perform job development, job analysis, and follow-up services. Develops referrals, performs basic public relations functions and partnerships with assigned territory to service organizations, schools, and physicians. Develops and maintains case documentations, interprets agency procedures, enters data into the Case Management System, maintain caseload budget, travels to assigned counties and works twice a month in a Career One-Stop Center. Plans and coordinates appointments for appropriate assessments needed to assess individual needs for vocational rehabilitation services in order to prepare for, enter into, engage in, and/or retain gainful employment. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifying: All candidates who apply and meet the minimum requirements are eligible for placement on the register for hiring consideration.
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION
Determines eligibility for persons for vocational rehabilitation services and provides vocational rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities seeking gainful employment; and performs other duties as required.
Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Occasional travel will be required to coordinate services between customers and the agency.
Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
