Hi Friends of
APH (American Printing House for the Blind)
I wanted to make sure you all
know about our film series that’s taking place in June, July, and August. Each
month we will screen a film featuring a major
character who is blind, followed by discussion. All movies will be audio
described,  and we’ll treat everyone who comes to popcorn and cokes!
We begin with Eyes in
the Night on June 22, 12:30-3.  The film focuses a detective who is blind and
his faithful and unusually competent guide dog named Friday. It was released in
1942 and is one of two movies based on a series of books about this detective by
Baynard Kendrick.
Other films in the
series are Bright Victory (1950) and A Patch of Blue (1962).
Admission is free and
open to the public, but registration is required. Email me or call me 899-2213
to register.
I hope you can come.
It’s going to be good!
